FCC AMINE SYSTEM
Client: Nigeria National Petroleum Co. (NNPC) For WRPC
The Project Objective is to Rehabilitate and Replace the existing internal parts of the FCC Amine System to restore it to optimum LPG treatment service. Following the Detailed Design of LECG the following scope have been implemented:
The Amine Mixing Sump was replaced with Surface Mixing Tank in order to restore and improve the functionality of the system. The work included:
1. Replacing the MEA mixing Sump with newly fabricated surface mixing tank.
2. Installing a manual transfer pump on the new tank for transfer of MEA to tank.
3. Revamp draining and piping system, corrosion inhibitor lines to injection points
4. Upgrade all pneumatic instruments to Digital / Electronic instrumentation compatible and with relevant interface with Refinery DCS.
Mechanical Completion and Commissioning of the new FCC Amine System of the Refinery was accepted by the Client. The Dosing Facilities built by LECG are working successfully since commissioning.
