FCC CONVERTER SEAL POTS INSTRUMENTATION

Client: Nigeria National Petroleum Co. (NNPC) For WRPC

The Project Objective is to upgrade and rehabilitate the Instrumentation and Piping Systems of the Seal Pots, to secure effective local and remote control of flue gases from FCC to orifice chamber.

In order to secure achieving the Projects Objective Detail Design for upgrading and rehabilitation of the system, its control and interface with the Main DCS – Data Control System and the following scope was implemented: Upgrade and Replace of the: a) seal pots control panel with seviceable Electronic / Digital Manual Stations and I /P Converter panel; b) Level Switches to top flanged types for float extrqction purpose and maintenance; c) All level controllers on both seal pots with Digital / Electroni level controllers; d) Coper Tubing and Trays; e) Temperature Thermocauples; f) Solenoid valves, g) Pressure gouges; i) Overhaul, recalibrate and loop aligne all seal pots digital control valves; h) Alarm Indications on Annunciator; Others…

Mechanical Completion and Commissioning of the improved Chemical Dosing Facilities of the Refinery, was accepted by the Client. The Dosing Facilities built by LECG are working successfuly since commissioning
