ONGOING PROJECTS:

1. ICT – (INTERNET COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY) PPPRA MASTERPLAN

I. Brief description of the job:
·         Design and BOQ for the Upgrade of the Physical Infrastructures in Abuja HQ and Regional Offices a) Clean Power Supply; b) Data Handling, Storing & Protection; c) Voice & Video; d) Fire Protection – in particular in sensitive (data handling and storage) locations; e) Security, Control and Alarm; f) PPPRA Internal & External L. Line Phone/ Wireless Communication.
·         Hi End Design of the Management Information and Digital Archiving Systems comprising the workflow of all the units, activities and documentation under the scope.
·         Further Detail Design Parameters for integrating Engineering and Economic professional inputs into the Automated Mode of operation comprising of: a) Petroleum Products Pricing Formulas; b) Regional and national Demand and Supply Estimating Practices; c) Other Information and outputs PPPRA is required to supply in accordance with its Mandate.
II. client: PPPRA – PETROLEUM PRODUCTS PRICING REGULATORY AGENCY – in charge of permits of P. products importation supply and pricing
III. SCOPE OF WORK PERFORMED:
Training of Project Team and input of PPPRA Senior Management to the Detailed Work Program and Initial inspection of PPPRA Facilities concluded. Following Approval of the Detailed Work Program, The Detailed Surveys of the Facilities and System Analysis of the Work Flow are underway.
 
 
2. CONSTRUCTION OF PORTABLE AND UTILITY WATER SYSTEM FOR THE OVADE – OGAREFE GAS PLANT
I. Brief description of the job:
This EPC Project covers Engineering Procurement and Construction of the Portable and Utility Water System of the Natural Gas Processing Station Including Drilling 2 Boreholes each supplying more than 30 C3 Water, Provision of complete system of Ground and Overhead Tanks, Water Treatment Plant and Distribution Network to the Administration and Utility Buildings of the Station.

3. ENGINEERING STUDY – REHABILITATION AND EXPANSION OF LPG DEPOT IN APAPA

I. Brief description of the job:
This engineering project comprises of A. Detailed survey of the Mechanical, Instrumentation (Including Fire & Gas) and Civil Facilities and other control equipment in order to prepare program and tender documents for the mechanical and instrumentation rehabilitation program. B. Survey and Marking of the Route of LPG Pipeline from the Depot to Apapa Jetty from where the LPG is supplied to the depot.

4. FIRE – FIGHTING SYSTEM, PAN OCEAN OVADE OGAREFE GAS PROCESSING PLANT

I. Brief description of the job:
This EPC Project is covering Engineering Procurement and Construction of all the Fire water works for the Gas Processing Station including construction of 3,000 Cubic Meters Water Tank, the Jockey and other relevant Pumps, Fire Protection Facilities, Relevant Alarm Devices and Fire Water system comprising: Pipelines, Monitors, Sprinklers, and other relevant instrumentation.

II. CLIENT: PAN OCEAN OIL COMPANY – BUILDING THE NATURAL GAS PROCESSING PLANT FOR PLANT IN OVADE OGHAREFE.

III. SCOPE OF WORK PERFORMED: MECHANICAL COMPLETION CONCLUDED

 
 

RECENT PROJECTS:
 
1. REHABILITATION AND UPGRADE OF CHEMICAL CONDENSATE FACILITIES (RUCCF) AT WRPC.
I. Brief description of the job:
This project is primarily intended to recover loss of steam and improve its recycling efficiency to the main steam drum in Power Plant.
Reduce loss of steam and replace corroded Condensate pumps, pipes,
drums with modern analyzer technology for monitoring.

II. CLIENT: NIGERIA NATIONAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (NNPC).

III. SCOPE OF WORK PERFORMED:
(a) Project Design, completed and approved by Client at Contractor’s home office.
(b) Procurement of Materials and Spares from Middle East and Europe –and now being shipped.
(c) Successful construction and commissions completed.
OVERALL SCOPE PERFORMED: 100%
2. ENGINEERINC SERVICES AND PROCES SIMULATION PROJECT
I. Brief description of the job:
·         Implementation the pilot process simulation a computerized model of WRPC main distillation column (including side-strippers) of the crude unit, with HYSYS software and to run a nominal simulation of the above mentioned section for WRPC Review and evaluation.
·         Detailed Training of NNPC Engineers on Using HYSYS on basis of WRPC Existing Model.
·         Expansion of HYSYS Model to additional Units or Aspects of operation in Warri Refinery. This Milestone shall be implemented by NNPC Engineers under Technical Assistance of the Contractor.
Model of a Unit or More Units in Other Refinery – This Milestone shall be implemented by NNPC Engineers under Technical Assistance of the Contractor.
II. CLIENT: NIGERIA NATIONAL PETROLEUM CORPORATION (NNPC).

3. C.R.U. HEATERS REHABILITATION PROJECT AT W.R.P.C.
CATALYTIC REFORMER UNITS HEATER REHABILITATION

CLIENT: NIGERIA NATIONAL PETROLEUM CO. (NNPC) FOR WRPC

Following the Fire Accident Rehabilitation of All Four Units of the Catalytic Reformer Unit – CRU and it adjoining facilities had to be replaced and its Control and Instrumentation system upgraded to the required standards. The following works has been carried out as a Fast Track Project in 3 Months since the effective commencement of the works:
1.    Design of the Mechanical System with relevant Upgrades of the Heaters
2.    Design of the Control, Instrumentation and Electric Systems and its Integration in Refinery DCS / PLC System Originally Supplied by Chyoda /Yokogawa
3.    Complete Replacement of the 4 Heaters Units Coils using the existing inlet and outlet headers, Replacement of the refractory, RTJ gaskets, Stud Blots and header Flanges
4.    Refurbishment of Burners, Air Plenums and any other damaged sections
5.    Replacement and Upgrade of all 67 skin point thermocouples, Shutoff Valves, and other Electric and Instrumentation Systems up to the Junctions boxes
6.    Providing New PLC systems, 5 Graphic Displays and its programming including interaction between DCS / PLC
7.    Performing continuity tests, loop checking and proper functioning at the termination points of the marshalling cabinets for the respective DCS/ PLC Systems
8.    Reconnecting the fuel and steam piping and control and electric systems.
Mechanical Completion and Commissioning of the new 4 CRU Heater Units of the Refinery, was implemented in accordance to the Fast Track Schedule, and accepted by the Client. The CRU Heater Units Revamped by LECG are working successfully since commissioning.
PAST OIL & GAS EXPERIENCE:
 
1. CONSTRUCTION OF LPG DEPOT IN APAPA

I. Brief description of the project:

·         The Deport storage capacity is 4,000 metric tons of LPG was implemented as EPC Project, comprising eight 500 metric ton LPG pressure ground mounted bullets.
·         The Depot was built on Difficult Soil Conditions requiring Reinforced Concrete Slab based on 80 x 40 M piles.
·         The facility was originally designed to receive its LPG through LPG Jetty and truck unloading station, which is located in parallel to 3 Loading Bays.
·         The loading system comprise of 3 multistage centrifugal pumps (4” suction and 2.5” discharge), suction lines 6” connected to 8” and 6” header that also connected to 6” tank’s outlets.
·         The unloading station designed to deliver LPG from trucks to the LPG storage through use of compressors.
·         The unloading system supply 2 pairs of loading stations, each consisting of a 2.5” LPG filling and a 1.5” vapor return hoses.
II. CLIENT: PIPELINES AND PRODUCTS MARKETING COMPANY
THE PROJECT COMPLETED IN ACCORDANCE TO THE FINAL (EXPANDED) SCOPE AT BUDGET OF US$ 35,000,000 AND WORKS UNINTERRUPTED SINCE IT COMMISSIONING AND WARRANTY PERIOD THAT ENDED IN 1997.
